I'm constantly amazed about the quickness of time.
I was standing in the bathroom the other morning, brushing my teeth and thinking about to a conversation Austin and I were having about a month before the wedding.
Austin says to me, "How much would you pay to snap your fingers and all of this is over and we're just married?"
"I don't want to miss my wedding day, so probably not that much"
"Okay, so how about to snap your fingers and it's the wedding day?"
"Probably a lot of money."
And now it's one month AFTER the wedding and I am wondering where the time went.
It feels like I really did just snap my fingers and fast forward time. It reminds me of Anthony Hopkin's line in "Meet Joe Black" when he's at his birthday party, standing in the midst of the festivities around him, knowing that Death is coming to claim him soon..."Sixty five years. Don't they go by in a blink".
If the last few months are any indication, yes, yes, they do. Funny...once upon a time I could snap through time and now, I find myself wanting to hit the pause button so I don't miss the beautiful chaos of it all.
Happy One Month-iversary....
