I remember being little and going to Baskin Robbins with my mom and sister. I'd stand staring at the rows of flavors behind the glass in indecision. Very Berry Strawberry (with chunks of actual frozen strawberries in it) or Chocolate Fudge? That was always my dilemma. Those were my two favorite flavors and I could never choose between the two. But of course, mom said only one scoop and so I would waver back and forth until her patience finally ran out and I would have to "ennie meenie minie mo" to make the decision for me.
No longer....
When I went to Baskin Robbins with Austin this summer I again stood in front of the glass looking at all the flavors. I sighed after a few minutes and said, "I can't decide if I want Very Berry Strawberry or Chocolate Fudge more"..."Get both", he said.
I have never been more in love with him than I was in that moment.
One of the best parts of summer is a double scoop of Baskin Robbins ice cream in a sugar cone. See ya wedding diet.
