I am the kind of person who can't sit still for very long (unless I am watching a movie or one of my guilty pleasure TV shows from the CW or reading a book). I like to work. And when I say "work", I am not just limiting the term to my job. I love projects. And to do lists. And productivity. I get stir crazy when I don't have something going on-I remember when I worked at Target in college, I got so bored over our 5 week Christmas break, I would go in to work even when I wasn't scheduled and just have them find me projects to do. Seriously. (Looking back, I realize that I apparently didn't have much of a life...hummmm.)
Anyway...I love a vacations, but after awhile, I get bored.
Which explains why for the past two days of the blizzard/snowpocolypse/snowmaggeon (you get the picture), I have cooked enough food to feed a small village for a month (and fill my freezer).
I have taken the hour long trek (which, for the record is a 10 minute walk in non-Arctic conditions) to the Again Street Park to let the dogs play twice.
I have done laundry and cleaned the kitchen. I have blogged and taken a zillion pictures of the snow (b/c it is just that cool- no pun intended). I have shopped online (since the mall is closed and I'm trapped at home anyway) and read a book and watched 2 movies with Austin.
And now I am ready to go back to school...but apparently we have another snow day tomorrow. And possibly Friday. Which means that I am going to pray for the ARC to open soon so I can at least go to the gym before I bake myself to death! But I suppose I'll make some chocolate chip cookies and cupcakes before I go...:)
