The First Year in Pictures: And the pictures begin again

Okay...so in attempts to learn more about my camera, I have been reading online articles and blogs. One of the articles yesterday was about 365 projects (where you take a picture everyday for a year). Of course, that is what this blog originated as, so I feel a need to re-attempt this challenge.

I don't know that I'll get them posted everyday, but hopefully (fingers crossed), I'll get one taken everyday....wish me luck! :)

The Mattsons- before leaving the Langebartel family Christmas, I got to play family photographer which was such an honor :) Aren't they such a cute family!

This is also a good time to point out one of my favorite things about my new camera...the in camera editing tools! You can change color, crop, reduce red-eye, etc. all from the camera menu! I used the "trim" (crop) tool for this picture as you can kind of see between the top and bottom photos:)

Okay..so I didn't take a picture today. BUT I didn't really resolve to restart the project until Jan 5, so I suppose I'll excuse today :)

Before we had Kyle and Deonna over for dinner on Monday night (the 4th), I asked Austin if we could please move his golf clubs out of the living room...perhaps to the garage? His response? "No. They need to stay warm." And so, in the living room they remain.....for now :)
