Superman

Saturday May 22, 2010

I have learned that everything actually IS bigger in Texas. From the giant 4 story mall with the iceskating rink in the middle

to the HUMUNGOUS chocolate covered strawberries (the picture doesn't do them justice...they're actually almost a quarter pound!)

which I am sure is going to make my waistline a little larger also...thanks, Texas. They're so delicious though!

To the egos...

Yep, that's the guy from Train wearing a t-shirt with his face on the front. He doesn't want to be your superman, but he'll be your man, and he'll be super baby....

Yes, I was at a Train concert. It was free. It was at Taste of Addison (and if you know me, you know that I am DEFINITELY in for any event with lots of food!). And to tell you the truth, the concert was pretty awesome. Especially, when I look over and Austin is singing all the words to "Save the Day" and when he's not singing, he's mockingly shouting "TRAIN! I LOVE YOU! I'VE BEEN WITH YOU ALL TOUR!!" or yelling at the teenage kids who keep trying to cut through the crowd to get closer. It's pretty hilarious. Concerts are way more fun with Austin heckling everyone ;) Total entertainment.

In summary: Texas-Big malls, big food, big egos, big fun :)
