Sometimes I feel like my life is too boring to take pictures of everyday for a year. The daily grind pretty much consists of me getting up, feeding the animals, getting ready for work, going to work, coming home, letting the dogs out and feeding them, then either going to work at The Tav, doing wedding planning or watching 24 or LOST. It's not very exciting and rarely photoworthy. Monday was the perfect example of our mundane evening schedule. I got off of work around 8:30 and then Austin and I went to my house and hunkered down to watch some 24. The dogs were in their usual positions (Mya on the couch looking at us with puppy dog eyes waiting to be called over and given more attention and Polo laying on the floor chewing on his Kong ball that's almost destroyed despite the claim that they're indestructable.)
And I, with my camera, clicked around taking random shots and fiddling with my camera settings until Austin had to tell me to stop so we could start the DVR. Just when I was about to actually listen to his request and shut off the camera, I discovered how much cooler pictures can look in black and white vs. color. Just check out the grapes (yes. I was at the point where I was taking pictures of grapes :)).
COLOR (just grapes...):

VS. B&W (total work of art)LOL. Okay..maybe not, Austin says he likes the color better...haha :)

Mya...looking so sad that I'm taking pictures of her instead of petting her :)

So, now maybe my life isn't boring...it's very artistic instead :)
